The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA) and the visiting Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA), saw Hempfield's baseball team gain a win over Ephrata by a tally of 7-0.

The Black Knights (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Manheim Township (Lancaster, PA). The Blue Streaks enter the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Manheim Township held off Penn Manor (Millersville, PA), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Mountaineers face the Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 1. Ephrata will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Barons enter the battle with a 13-5 record after their 5-2 league loss to Eastern Lebanon County (Myerstown, PA).
