April 3, 2023: Reno, NV 89511 Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV), 15-5 in a league test.
With the win, Bishop Manogue upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Miners host Lassen (Susanville, CA) to battle the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Thursday, April 6. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 7-4. Lassen lost 8-6 in their recent league test against University Prep (Redding, CA)
With the defeat, Douglas falls to 6-10 on the season. The Tigers host Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to battle the Cougars in a 5A North test on Tuesday, April 4. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 8-2. Spanish Springs lost 18-8 in their recent non-league test against Galena (Reno, NV)
