April 3, 2023: Idalou, TX 79329 Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Childress Bobcats (Childress, TX), 17-13 in a league test.
With the win, Idalou upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Abernathy (Abernathy, TX) to battle the Antelopes in a 3A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, April 11. The Antelopes come into the test with a record of 3-7.
With the defeat, Childress falls to 2-4 on the season. The Bobcats host Slaton (Slaton, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 3A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, April 11. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 7-14. Slaton lost 12-0 in their recent league test against Shallowater (Shallowater, TX)
