April 3, 2023: Newport, PA 17074 The Line Mountain Eagles baseball team (Herndon, PA), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Monday's league bout with the host Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA)
The Buffaloes now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Juniata for a Tri-Valley bout on Wednesday, April 5. Newport will face a Indians team coming off a 3-1 league win over Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA). The Indians record now stands at 2-2.
Next, the Eagles face the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans (Elizabethville, PA) in a Tri-Valley bout, on Thursday, April 6. Line Mountain will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 5-4 league loss to Greenwood (Millerstown, PA).
