The Sun Valley Spartans held off the visiting Union Academy Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.

The Spartans now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ardrey Kell for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18. Sun Valley will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.

The Cardinals (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates enter the test with a 0-3 record.
