The Sun Valley Spartans held off the host Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Spartans now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Academy for a non-league test on Monday, April 3. Sun Valley will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-2.

The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Lake Pointe Academy (York, SC). The Mariners enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Lake Pointe Academy held off Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
