Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Comets confront the Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 14. Halifax County will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.
