Kentucky High School Softball - Owsley County bounces Cordia
April 3, 2023: Hazard, KY 41701 The Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls routed the host Cordia Lions softball squad by a final score of 16-0 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Owls / Lady Owls (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Buckhorn was routed by Leslie County (Hyden, KY), 16-0, in a league battle.
The Lions now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Jackson City for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 5. Cordia will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Wolfe County (Campton, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
