April 3, 2024: Meadville, MS 39653 The Franklin County Bulldogs softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting South Pike Eagles to 6 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Franklin County moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host McComb (McComb, MS) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, April 4. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 3-11. McComb lost 21-0 in their recent league game against Lawrence County (Monticello, MS)
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS) in a 3A Region 7 test, on Thursday, April 4. South Pike will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Blue Waves come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 15-0 league loss to Wesson (Wesson, MS).
