Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), 8-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Asheboro moves its record to 5-10 on the season. The Blue Comets travel to North Davidson (Lexington, NC) to confront the Black Knights in a Mid-Piedmont 3A match on Friday, April 4. The Black Knights come into the match with a record of 6-9.
