April 3, 2025: Dwight, IL 60420 The Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) baseball got by the visiting Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn Rockets (Roanoke, IL), 5-4 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Henry-Senachwine for a Tri-County challenge on Friday, April 4. Dwight will clash with a Mallards team coming off a 3-2 league win over Seneca (Seneca, IL). The Mallards record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn drops to 6-3 on the year. The Rockets travel to Lexington (Lexington, IL) to clash with the Minutemen in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5. The Minutemen go into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Lexington won 16-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Midland (Varna, IL)
