The South Pointe Stallions baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Richland Northeast Cavaliers to 2 in the Stallions non-league win on Thursday.

The Stallions now own a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host York for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. South Pointe will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 16-12 non-league loss to Clover (Clover, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, Richland Northeast drops to 1-10 on the year. The Cavaliers host Dreher (Columbia, SC) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8.
