Oregon High School Baseball - Stayton nips St. Helens
April 3, 2025: Stayton, OR 97383 The Stayton Eagles baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting St. Helens Lions to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.
The Eagles now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gladstone for a non-league test on Friday, April 4.
With the defeat, St. Helens drops to 3-4 on the year. The Lions host Tillamook (Tillamook, OR) to play the Cheesemakers in a 4A Cowapa test on Tuesday, April 8. The Cheesemakers go into the test with a record of 7-2. Tillamook lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against La Grande (La Grande, OR)
