Oregon High School Baseball - Scappoose defeats St. Helens
April 11, 2025: Scappoose, OR 97056 The Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR) baseball trounced the visiting St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR), 7-1 in Friday's league challenge.
The Indians now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seaside for a 4A Cowapa challenge on Saturday, April 12. Scappoose will clash with a Seagulls team coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Estacada (Estacada, OR). The Seagulls record now stands at 3-6.
With the defeat, St. Helens drops to 5-6 on the year. The Lions host Marist (Eugene, OR) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 12. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Marist lost 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Stayton (Stayton, OR)
