April 3, 2025: San Jose, CA 95116 Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons (Hillsborough, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Lions (San Jose, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Crystal Springs Uplands improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Gryphons travel to The Nueva School (San Mateo, CA) to face the Mavericks in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 4-8.
The Lions now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to KIPP San Jose Collegiate for a PSAL - South test on Monday, April 14. Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Waldorf (Mountain View, CA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 4-2.
