Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Leigh improves its record to 14-2 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA) to encounter the Monarchs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. The Monarchs go into the test with a record of 17-1. Archbishop Mitty lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA)

The Pirates now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Independence for a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton test on Tuesday, April 8. Piedmont Hills will encounter a 76ers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Del Mar (San Jose, CA). The 76ers record now stands at 4-13.
