California High School Volleyball - St. Bernard overwhelmed by Verbum Dei Jesuit
April 3, 2025: Playa del Rey, CA 90293 The Verbum Dei Jesuit Eagles topped the host St. Bernard Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA) in a Santa Fe game, on Tuesday, April 8. Verbum Dei Jesuit will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 0-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA).
The Vikings (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA). The Cardinals go into the Santa Fe game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary gained a win over Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
