In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Grace Christian Crusaders baseball team scored a close 8-6 win over the Pinecrest Patriots.

The Crusaders (7-0) will now prepare for their game against Wake County HomeSchool (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 15-6 record. In their last game, Wake County HomeSchool nudged Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association (Amelia Court House, VA), 11-7, in a non-league game.

Next, the Patriots play the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a game, on Friday, April 4. Pinecrest will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Fighting Scots go into the game with a 6-8 record after their 12-9 non-league win over Overhills (Spring Lake, NC).
