The Liberty Lions triumphed over the visiting Castro Valley Trojans softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 5. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Gaels enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 10-0 league loss to Livermore (Livermore, CA).
