Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA), 3-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Liberty improves its record to 22-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA) to play the Gauchos in a non-league game on Friday, May 30. The Gauchos enter the game with a record of 22-5. Casa Grande won 9-0 in their recent non-league game against Livermore (Livermore, CA)

The Falcons now hold a 15-9 record. They play next when they travel to Livermore for a non-league game on Saturday, May 31. Foothill will play a Cowboys squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 19-10.
