The Hueytown Golden Gophers (Hueytown, AL) softball routed the host McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL), 13-1 in Thursday's league outing.

The Golden Gophers now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bessemer City for a 6A Area 8 outing on Monday, April 7. Hueytown will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
