The Memorial Warriors softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Heritage Coyotes to 0 in the Warriors league win on Friday.

The Warriors now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Independence for a 5A Region II District 11 battle on Tuesday, April 7. Memorial will confront a Knights team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Knights record now stands at 4-14.

With the loss, Heritage moves to 4-15 on the season. The Coyotes host Liberty (Frisco, TX) to confront the Redhawks in a 5A Region II District 11 battle on Tuesday, April 7. The Redhawks come into the battle with a record of 12-10. Liberty lost 23-17 in their recent league battle against Centennial (Frisco, TX)
