Ohio High School Softball - Lake holds off GlenOak
April 30, 2022: Canton, OH 44709 The crowd at Saturday's league match between the Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH) and the host GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH), saw Lake's softball squad nip GlenOak by a count of 7-5.
The Blue Streaks now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Archbishop Hoban for a non-league match on Monday, May 2. Lake will face a Knights squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH). The Knights record now stands at 14-5.
With the loss, GlenOak falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Washington (Massillon, OH) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, May 2. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 5-1.
