The East Hardy Cougars (Baker, WV) baseball nipped the host Southern Rams (Oakland, MD), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Tucker County Mountain Lions (Hambleton, WV) in a Potomac Valley contest, on Thursday, May 2. East Hardy will attempt to better on its 15-6 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the contest with a 1-11 record after their 4-4 league Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV).
