April 30, 2024: Hamilton, MO 64644 The Lawson Cardinals crushed the host Penney Hornets baseball team by a tally of 14-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now hold a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mid-Buchanan for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 1.
Next, the Hornets face the West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) in a Class 2 District 15 bout, on Wednesday, May 1. Penney will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record. The Bluejays enter the bout with a 16-6 record after their 10-0 non-league win over DeKalb (DeKalb, MO).
