April 30, 2024: Sykesville, MD 21784 In Tuesday's league challenge, the Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD) baseball squad triumphed over the host South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), by a final score of 10-1.
With the victory, Westminster improves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Owls host Winters Mill (Westminster, MD) to clash with the Falcons in a Monocacy Valley - Chesapeake game on Wednesday, May 1. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 3-14. Winters Mill lost 10-2 in their recent non-league game against Tuscarora (Frederick, MD)
The Cavaliers (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD). The Eagles go into the Monocacy Valley - Chesapeake game with a 6-12 record.
