Virginia High School Soccer - King's Fork overwhelmed by Western Branch
April 30, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23321 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), saw Western Branch's soccer squad triumph over King's Fork by a count of 10-0.
The Bruins now hold a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Hickory for a Southeastern test on Thursday, May 2. Western Branch will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 10-0.
With the loss, King's Fork drops to 5-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Southeastern outing on Thursday, May 2. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 7-1. Great Bridge won 8-0 in their recent league outing against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA)
