Virginia High School Soccer - King's Fork nudges Indian River
May 7, 2024: Suffolk, VA 23434 King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Thursday, May 9. King's Fork will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA).
The Braves now have a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deep Creek for a Southeastern challenge on Thursday, May 9. Indian River will confront a Hornets team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 8-6.
