April 30, 2024: Mt. Vernon, IL 62864 The Marion Wildcats soccer team scored 5 points and limited the host Mt. Vernon Rams to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Wildcats face the Belleville East Lancers (Belleville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 3. Marion will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Lancers enter the contest with a 8-7 record after their 4-0 league loss to O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL).
The Rams now have a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carbondale for a South Seven contest on Monday, May 6.
