New Jersey High School Softball - Washington Township nudges Williamstown
April 30, 2024: Williamstown, NJ 08094 Washington Township Minutemen (Sewell, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Williamstown Braves (Williamstown, NJ), 9-8 in a league challenge.
The Minutemen now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Gloucester Catholic for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 1. Washington Township will face a Rams squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Clayton (Clayton, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Williamstown falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Deptford (Deptford, NJ) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 3-9. Deptford lost 6-4 in their recent league challenge against Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ)
