York Wildcats (York, ME) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Poland Knights (Poland, ME), 7-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, York advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME) to battle the Raiders in a Class B South battle on Friday, May 2. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 3-1. Fryeburg won 16-1 in their recent non-league battle against Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME)

Next, the Knights face the Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) in a Class B South battle, on Monday, May 5. Poland will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Lakers enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 12-0 league win over Freeport (Freeport, ME).
