The Casa Grande Gauchos baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks to 5 in the Gauchos league win on Wednesday.

The Gauchos now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vintage for a test on Saturday, May 3. Casa Grande will clash with a Crushers team coming off a 4-1 league win over Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA). The Crushers record now stands at 15-3.

With the defeat, Tamalpais drops to 7-14 on the year. The Red tailed hawks host Petaluma (Petaluma, CA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 15-3. Petaluma won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Redwood (Larkspur, CA)
