In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Benedictine Cadets.

The Mavericks (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Highland defeated Potomac School (McLean, VA), 13-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Cadets face the Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 1. Benedictine will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record.
