The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA) and the visiting River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA), observed Central Cambria's softball team get by River Valley by a final score of 8-5.

The Red Devils (9-3) will now prepare for their bout against Somerset (Somerset, PA). The Eagles go into the Laurel Highlands 1 bout with a 4-8 record. In their last bout, Somerset tipped Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA), 17-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) in a Heritage bout, on Monday, May 5. River Valley will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record.
