Ohio High School Softball - Southern knocked off by Columbiana

The Columbiana Clippers overwhelmed the host Southern Indians softball squad by a count of 21-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Clippers meet the United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH) in a Eastern Ohio Athletic challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Columbiana will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 14-1 league win over Leetonia (Leetonia, OH).

The Indians (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against East Palestine (East Palestine, OH). The Bulldogs go into the Eastern Ohio Athletic challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, East Palestine was routed by Salem (Salem, OH), 12-2, in a non-league challenge.
