Oregon High School Softball - Taft bounces Jefferson
April 30, 2025: Jefferson, OR 97352 The Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR) softball routed the host Jefferson Lions (Jefferson, OR), 23-2 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amity for a 3A Special District 3 outing on Thursday, May 1. Taft will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 9-2 league win over Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Jefferson moves to 0-13 on the season. The Lions travel to Blanchet Catholic (Salem, OR) to encounter the Cavaliers in a 3A Special District 3 outing on Friday, May 2. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a record of 2-11. Blanchet Catholic lost 18-8 in their recent league outing against Willamina (Willamina, OR)
