The Harrison Hornets baseball squad (Harrison, MI), was overwhelmed 16-1 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI)

With the triumph, Shepherd moves its record to 14-2 on the season. The Bluejays host Escanaba (Escanaba, MI) to confront the Eskymos in a non-league contest on Friday, May 1. The Eskymos come into the contest with a record of 7-4. Escanaba won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Negaunee (Negaunee, MI)

The Hornets now possess a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Algonac for a non-league contest on Friday, May 1.
