In Thursday's non-league bout, the Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT) baseball squad edged the visiting Payson Lions (Payson, UT), by a tally of 5-4.

Next up, the Wasps encounter the Maple Mountain Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 4. Wasatch will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 9-4 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT).
