In Thursday's non-league test, the Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Okemos Chiefs (Okemos, MI), by a tally of 18-0.

Next, the Comets clash with the Grandville Bulldogs (Grandville, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 2. Grand Ledge will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 8-3 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI).
