In Thursday's league match, the visiting Bangor Vikings softball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Marcellus Wildcats.

The Vikings (10-6) will now prepare for their match against Parchment (Parchment, MI). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 11-1 record. In their last match, Parchment tipped Schoolcraft (Schoolcraft, MI), 9-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Cassopolis Rangers (Cassopolis, MI) in a Southwest 10 match, on Monday, May 4. Marcellus will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Rangers go into the match with a 6-5 record after their 11-10 league loss to Centreville (Centreville, MI).
