April 4, 2022: Sumter, SC 29154 The Sumter Fighting Gamecocks smashed the visiting Crestwood Knights soccer squad by a margin of 9-1 in Monday's non-league match.
The Fighting Gamecocks now sport a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Carolina Forest for a AAAAA Region 6 match on Tuesday, April 5. Sumter will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 4-6.
