Virginia High School Soccer - Narrows overwhelmed by Giles
April 4, 2022: Pearisburg, VA 24134 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) and the visiting Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA), saw Giles's soccer squad triumph over Narrows by a margin of 7-2.
The Spartans now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Auburn for a Mountain Empire test on Thursday, April 7. Giles will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Narrows drops to 1-2 on the season. The Green waves host Craig County (New Castle, VA) to meet the Rockets in a Pioneer test on Tuesday, April 12. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 0-3.
