The Loyd Star Hornets routed the visiting Bogue Chitto Bobcats softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Monday's league battle.

The Hornets (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS). The Bears go into the 2A Region 7 battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, West Lincoln topped Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS), 18-5, in a league battle.
