Ohio High School Softball - Catholic Central gets by Greenon
April 4, 2022: Springfield, OH 45505 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH) and the visiting Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH), witnessed Catholic Central's softball squad tip Greenon by a count of 4-3.
The Irish now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Madison Plains for a Ohio Heritage South match on Tuesday, April 5. Catholic Central will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Cedarville (Cedarville, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Greenon moves to 1-2 on the season. The Knights host Madison Plains (London, OH) to face the Golden Eagles in a Ohio Heritage South match on Wednesday, April 6. The Golden Eagles go into the match with a record of 1-0.
