Connecticut High School Softball - Darien bounces Joel Barlow
April 4, 2022: Darien, CT 06820 Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Wave now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host McMahon for a Fairfield County challenge on Saturday, April 9. Darien will face a Senators squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Weston (Weston, CT). The Senators record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Joel Barlow falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Newtown (Newtown, CT) to face the Nighthawks in a Southwest - Colonial challenge on Wednesday, April 6. The Nighthawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Newtown lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT)
