April 4, 2023: Hickory, NC 28601 The St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) soccer bounced the visiting Foard Tigers (Newton, NC), 8-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the win, St. Stephens moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to West Iredell (Statesville, NC) to battle the Warriors in a Western Foothills 3A bout on Thursday, April 6. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-7. West Iredell lost 6-0 in their recent league bout against North Iredell (Olin, NC)
In their next game, the Tigers battle the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A bout, on Wednesday, April 5. Foard will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 6-0 league win over West Iredell (Statesville, NC).
