Virginia High School Softball - Central Woodstock bounces Madison County
April 4, 2023: Madison, VA 22727 Central Woodstock Falcons (Woodstock, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Page County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Central Woodstock will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Madison County falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Strasburg (Strasburg, VA) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Strasburg won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Luray (Luray, VA)
