April 4, 2023: De Soto, KS 66018 The Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS) softball routed the host De Soto Wildcats (De Soto, KS), 12-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Thunderbirds (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS). The Bobcats go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Basehor-Linwood was routed by Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Leavenworth for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 6. De Soto will confront a PIONEERS squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Highland Park (Topeka, KS). The PIONEERS record now stands at 4-2.
