April 4, 2023: Waynesboro, VA 22980 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Wellsville Lions (Wellsville, NY) and the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), witnessed Wellsville's softball squad prevail over Waynesboro by a count of 10-1.
The Lions now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to DuBois Central Catholic for a non-league match on Thursday, April 6. Wellsville will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Brockway (Brockway, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-0.
