April 4, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70122 The Morris Jeff Pelicans baseball team (New Orleans, LA), was overwhelmed 20-1 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA)
The Roneagles now hold a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bogalusa for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 6. McDonogh 35 will confront a Lumberjacks team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 12-6.
Next, the Pelicans confront the Kennedy Cougars (New Orleans, LA) in a 3A District 9 outing, on Monday, April 8. Morris Jeff will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 5-10 record after their 18-1 league loss to Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA).
